I would like to congratulate each of our young students who each were prepared and their preparation was evident. Their knowledge of their chosen subject and the constitution was impressive. The experience I’m sure will be a memorable one for each of the contestants.
Our American Legion Post 202’s candidate (Samantha Da Cruz) of Cumberland Polytechnic High School came out victorious by placing 1st at the Division II Contest and will move on to the State competition to be held in Kings Mountain, NC.
