There’s a video on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/amerleg.post.202) that capture live moments of this well supported event.
Please be advised, there are two things happening in this post info.
1. Post 202 is having its request for toys to be given for underprivileged children within our immediate community. There is a box in the Post to accommodate those who are able to come and drop any toys off for this worthy Christmas 2019 cause. The deadline I understand to be 15 Dec 2019.
2. The Marine Corps, national Toys For Tots official drop-off location also is at the Post. When dropping off your contribution please designated the appropriate one.
At the December 2019 General Membership meeting a perspective was generated on the status if one can shop at a military exchange. The following information is gathered on the subject at hand, check it out, follow through to the appropriate facility then govern yourself accordingly:
Thanks to a 2017 rule change, all honorably discharged veterans can shop at the Exchange online, but not on base. So where do these rules on who can and can’t shop at the exchange and commissary come from? One word: Congress. Federal law, approved by Congress, sets who can and cannot shop on at on-base stores.
